AN ADDITION TO THE TRUCKERS FLEET

On February 23rd, Connect Truckers took delivery of the first of two new flatbed fork trucks coming online in the first quarter of 2015. The procurement of these trucks marks the beginning of a year of exceptional growth for the Truckers team, with a number of new opportunities slated for the year ahead.

The first of the 2 trucks to come online is a new Volvo FM Classic in a rigid twin steer configuration with a suitably powered 370HP engine. Affectionally named Beepop (more on that another time) this flatbed option bolsters the Truckers fleet and adds more flexibility to their available services with the capacity to deliver up to 12 x 1.5 Tonne product pallets to sites located in Brisbane, around South East Queensland and of course beyond. Like the entire Truckers fleet, it will be equipped with a state of the art vehicle tracking and logistics hardware; an addition which gives Connect Truckers the competitive edge when it comes to on-site service and on-time reliability.

These trucks will also be fitted with a Loadmac mounted forklift system which is “probably the best 2500kg Truck Mounted Forklift in the World”. The Loadmac forklift offers superior on-site access and handling and a unique one side unload making the new Connect Truckers flat beds perfect for tight job sites in and around town and residential areas.
